    Insurance

We are considered an out-of-network provider when a diagnosis is present.  To better help our clients we have partnered with a company called Mentaya to help you use your out-of-network benefits and receive a reimbursement for the therapy you have paid for.

Mentaya submits the necessary forms and information to your insurance company and will complete all of the follow-up requested or required by your insurance company.  They do charge a small fee for this service.

The calculator below can tell you more about your out-of-network benefits!

Insurance companies do require medical necessity to cover therapy services.  What this means is that a member of your family, you or your child, will need to meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis to be covered.  This will become a part of that persons medical record and will be shared with the insurance company.

UpliftME therapists provide mental health services from a relationship lens and will not necessarily assess for a mental health diagnosis unless needed.  They will assess relationship dynamics and supports, which are not covered by insurance companies.

     Some other considerations include:

    • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
    • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
    • What might be the long-term effects of having an identified mental health diagnosis in my or my child’s medical record?

    Payment

We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards, including HSA and FSA, as forms of payment. Payment is expected at the time of service.

    Cancellation Policy

We do require notice of cancelation to occur at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If 24 hours notice is not given, you will be charged the full amount of the session.
